During the months of October, November and April to June, our talks are held at St Edmund's Church Hall, Kings Croft, Allestree, Derby DE22 2FN (Other talks are delivered via Zoom - please see the Events page).
How to get to St Edmund's Church Hall

Directions from Derby City
A6 out of Derby, direction Allestree, Duffield, Belper, Matlock
Pass the Broadway Island and pub on the left, A6 (small island)
Continue to next very large island, Palm Court Island, on the A6 which crosses over the A38.
Take 2 nd exit on to Kings Croft and immediately bear right; go up the hill and St Edmund's Church Hall is on the right (just before St Edmund's Close): there is a white notice on the wall at the entrance. Turn right into the drive then turn immediately left.
The turning right is quite narrow, as is the turning immediately left.
The car park is right in front of the church hall.
Do not attempt to park on the road.
Directions from Matlock A6
Take A6 to Allestree, Derby.
At the Palm Court Island, which goes over the A38, go completely around the island, crossing the A38 slip roads both north and south and turn immediately left into King's Croft. This is a narrow and twisty turn: bear immediately right.
Go up the hill and St Edmund's Church Hall is on the right (just before St Edmund's Close): there is a white notice on the wall at the entrance. Turn right into the drive then turn immediately left.

The car park is right in front of the church hall.

Additional parking in the Red Cow car park.
Permission has been given to park on the adjacent pub car park, The Red Cow. Entrance is the next turning right after the entrance to St Edmund’s hall car park.
Please park on the side of the pub car park which borders the Church hall.
