Comme professeur de français en Angleterre et avec un grand ami en France – il s’agit de Michel Trégret – le conférencier a fondé en 1990 l’échange « homestay » de Wolverhampton Grammar School avec Le Collège Saint Joseph, Savenay, en Loire Atlantique. Pendant 26 ans, avec ses collègues et ses élèves, il a vécu des moments inoubliables ; intéressants, parfois difficiles, souvent très drôles, de grands moments d’amitié… Vincent R-B vous racontera cela, en vous présentant aussi la région de la Presqu’île Guérandaise, les chantiers de l’Atlantique de Saint Nazaire, la Côte Sauvage, le Parc régional de Brière, les marais salants et d’autres endroits encore, avec un coup d’œil au présent et à l’avenir possible de la région. Il y aura des questions à réponses multiples toutes les 5-10 minutes (une quinzaine en tout) pour faciliter la participation et le divertissement de chacun. As a French teacher in England with a great friend in France – Michel Trégret – in 1990 the speaker founded the "homestay" exchange between Wolverhampton Grammar School and the Collège Saint Joseph, Savenay, in Loire Atlantique. For 26 years, with both colleagues and students, he experienced unforgettable and interesting moments; some sometimes difficult, often very funny, and great moments of friendship... Vincent R-B will recount these tales, whilst at the same time introducing you to the Guérandaise Peninsula, the Atlantic shipyards of Saint Nazaire, the Côte Sauvage, the Brière Regional Park, the salt marshes, and other places besides, with a perspective on the present, and possible future, of the region. There will be multiple-choice questions every 5-10 minutes (about fifteen in all) to facilitate everyone's participation and entertainment. An illustrated, personal and informative talk.
