Weekly Coffee Mornings

WHAT IS IT? A completely informal gathering over a cup of tea or coffee, providing the opportunity to converse in French.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? If you speak French, you'll be welcome to attend, even if you do not speak French fluently (yet!)

WHEN? Every week, unless otherwise stated (on alternating Fridays and Saturdays), from 10.30-12 noon. See exact dates below.

DATES POUR 2026 : On Saturdays, every two weeks starting 10 January 2026 ; On Fridays, every two weeks from 16 January 2026.

You can come whenever, you like and stay for as long, or as little, as you like.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO TAKE PART? Attend, that's all! It's free for your first two attendances (you just purchase yourself what you'd like to drink). Look out for our little tricolor flags when you arrive to locate us. On your third Pause-café attendance we will invite you to become a French Circle Member, or to make a donation of £10 for the 2024-25 season (valid until September 2025) in order to continue attending the Pause-cafés.
